The Lehigh Acres Relay For Life will hold five Team Rallies in preparation for the 2011 Relay for Life. Former and current cancer patients, those who have lost a loved one to cancer, families, businesses, faith-based and civic organizations - anyone wanting to make a difference in the fight against cancer are invited to take part in these team events. Team Rallies help both established teams as well as newcomers develop ideas to raise funds this worthwhile cause. Rallies will take place on January 10, February 7, March 7 and April 4 from 7 pm to 8 pm at the Microtel on Business Way in Lehigh leading up to the overnight Relay For Life that is scheduled for April 16-17, 2011 at Veterans Park Academy.
The American Cancer Society's Relay For Life of Lehigh Acres is presented by Lehigh Regional Medical Center and gives everyone in the community a chance to help the organization save lives and create a world with less cancer and more birthdays.
