You're invited to a free informational talk on Mindfulness - Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). This talk is for people looking for a healthy way to respond to stress, and for healthcare practitioners seeking a stress-reduction resource for their patients. MBSR is an educational program in which participants learn simple meditation techniques, gentle yoga, walking meditation, and other forms of meditative practice to enable participants to develop and maintain their own mindfulness practice. This program is taught throughout the US and worldwide at academic medical institutions such as Duke, Vanderbilt, and MIT, and is proven to offer significant benefits for health and well-being.
