Stay Alive.... Just Drive! is a nationally recognized crash prevention, education, and awareness program aimed at promoting safe driving and curbing distracted driving. Studies now prove that 80% of motor vehicle crashes and 65% of near misses are a direct result of driver inattention. Daily, tragic reports from across the United States make local and national news regarding those seriously injured, lives lost, and stories of families left mourning the loss of a loved one.Driving is a privilege, not a right.

Since the introduction of the automobile, distractions have always been a major factor in the safe operation of a vehicle. Distracted driving puts other drivers, motorcyclists, bicyclists, and pedestrians in the bull’s-eye. Given the number of distractions in these days of electronic technology, along with eating, grooming and dealing with small children, society needs to accept the fact that distracted driving has become a public health threat.

Sadly, motor vehicle crashes remain the leading cause of death and long term disability, including brain and spinal cord injuries for ages 1 - 44, and the number one killer for ages 15 - 21. Whether you are driving alone, transporting a child properly restrained in a car seat, or driving with other passengers with their seat belts on, CRASHES DON’T DISCRIMINATE!
